We are a non-profit volunteer organization. Your donation helps us purchase supplies, GPS units and educational materials in addition to supporting Mote's Sea Turtle Programs.

- Becoming or renewing a Longboat Key Turtle Watch Membership - Requires you to be an active volunteer and attend meetings. Membership dues must be paid between 3/1 and 4/15 each year in order to be an active volunteer. Being an active volunteer allows you to participate in educational outreach opportunities, beach clean-ups and other off-beach volunteer activities. Being a Longboat Key Turtle Watch volunteer does not guarantee beach patrol, which requires additional training through the Mote Marine Laboratory Sea Turtle Conservation and Research Program, as well as Florida Fish & Wildlife. If Membership is closed for the year and the link above is disabled or if you cannot commit to being an active volunteer, please consider becoming a supporter by clicking the link below. Any donations received after 4/15 for membership will be considered supporters for the current year.
